Sydney and Rose booked me exactly one year in advance, they are a wonderful couple but surely shy and they were looking for a wedding photographer in Rochester NY that would make them comfortable during their wedding day, capturing all the fun moments and excitements.
When we first met, we immediately connected and since our first meeting we all been patiently waiting for the day to arrive. So the day came, we met once more again a week before the wedding to discuss the timeframe and ideas. I always meet with the couples a week or so prior to their event, some things could change or things needed to be modified and fine-tuned during the year.
We had many ideas where to go for the pictures but unfortunately it got cold and windy and so we worked mostly indoors.
The wedding took place at the hotel The In On Broadway a beautiful historical building. The staff also gave us access to the roof.
Sydney and Rose didn’t have a big bridal party, in fact they only had one person in it and she was also an officiant. Her name was Emily, she was truly super fun and even hilarious. She’s the best friend of the couple and definitely knew all the ins and outs about them. She was great help to me during our short wedding portraits session.
Sydney and Rose are also professional dancers. They told me how important it was to capture their cool moves and so we did!
I really enjoyed being a part of their wedding day. The couple and their parents were all super nice to me, the food was great, I made new friends and the day went by so fast because we all had fun!
After the wedding, a few days later I emailed the couple some pictures as a preview and they loved it so much. They even went on to publish a very positive review about my work. When they got all the files back from their rehearsal event and the wedding, they were very happy and so was I!
I would like to just take a moment and congratulate Sydney & Rose once again on their marriage. I wish them happiness and many joyful years together!
Enjoy some of the many photos we took. Thank you for stopping by and till next time!
